1. Who operates OnlySail

OnlySail is an international online marketplace for sailing yachts, catamarans and trimarans, available at https://onlysail.com.

The service is operated by Marketstrate LLC, a company organised in the State of Texas, United States. Company website: https://marketstrate.com.

OnlySail serves an international audience, including visitors located in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Optional technologies are therefore only used with your prior consent.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. OnlySail also uses similar browser-storage technologies — localStorage and sessionStorage — which store information in your browser in the same way but are not transmitted with every request.

In this Policy, 'cookies' refers to cookies and these equivalent browser-storage technologies together.

3. Essential technologies

These are required for OnlySail to work and cannot be switched off. They are used for authentication, keeping you signed in, security, account functionality and the general operation of the marketplace.

• Supabase authentication storage — keeps your session active after you sign in, including Google sign-in.
• Security and abuse-prevention measures applied by our infrastructure providers.
• Your privacy choice itself, stored so that we do not ask you again on every page.

OnlySail remains fully usable with every optional category rejected: browsing, search, saved yachts, enquiries, listings, dashboards and sign-in all continue to work.

4. Functional preferences

Functional storage remembers choices you make so the interface behaves the way you expect.

• Language preference — when you choose English or Spanish with the EN / ES switcher, the choice is stored in your browser under the first-party key `onlysail.locale` so the site keeps that language on your next visit.

Functional preferences are never used for advertising, profiling, analytics or cross-site tracking. Your language preference works whether or not you accept Analytics.

5. Analytics

With your permission, OnlySail uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-8Z7GSK0P1P), provided by Google, to understand how the marketplace is used — for example which pages are visited and how visitors navigate between them — so we can improve it.

Analytics is switched off by default. Google Analytics is not loaded and no measurement data is sent from OnlySail until you affirmatively accept Analytics. If you reject Analytics, or never respond to the banner, no Google Analytics script is loaded and no analytics request is made.

We do not send personal identifiers such as your name, email address or phone number to Google Analytics, and we do not use OnlySail analytics data for advertising or remarketing.

Google processes this data as our analytics provider under Google's own terms. Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States.

6. Advertising and marketing trackers

OnlySail does not currently use advertising, remarketing or social-media tracking pixels. There is no Meta Pixel, Google Ads tag, TikTok Pixel or comparable advertising technology on the site. If that ever changes, this Policy and the consent options will be updated first.

7. Third-party services

Some technologies are set by service providers that OnlySail relies on:

• Supabase — authentication, database and storage (essential).
• Stripe — payment processing for optional listing promotions, used only when you start a checkout (essential to that transaction).
• Google Analytics 4 — analytics, loaded only with your consent.
• Google Sign-In — used only if you choose to sign in with Google.

8. How your choices are stored and changed

Your choice is stored in your browser under the first-party key `onlysail.consent.v1`. It records only which categories you allowed and when — never your name, email address, phone number, account ID or any identifier.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings control in the footer of every page. This reopens the preference manager, where you can enable or disable Analytics and save the new choice.

If you withdraw Analytics consent, no further analytics measurement is sent and the Google Analytics cookies we can reach from onlysail.com are cleared. Withdrawing Analytics consent never signs you out and never removes your language preference.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and install Google's opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking essential technologies may prevent parts of OnlySail from working.
